THANK YOU FOR PARTICIPATING IN THE 1000 ORIGAMI CRANES PROJECT

The Millbrae Japanese Culture Festival Committee would like to thank the Millbrae Recreation Department, specifically Geofrey Gabriel, for helping us promote our 1000 Cranes Project.  We would like to thank the parents and students of Taylor Middle School, the students of Mills High School Interact Club and Japan Club and all of those in the community who helped us make cranes.  In addition, we would like to thank the Millbrae Rotary Club, Millbrae’s Art & Culture Committee and Millbrae Community TV for also helping promote this project.  We hope to be able to congregate again next year to remake our origami flags in time for the Millbrae Japanese Culture Festival scheduled to be held on Sunday, October 3, 2021

While sheltering in place during this difficult time for everyone, the Millbrae Japanese Culture Festival Committee invites our Millbrae community to join us in making origami cranes as a symbol of peace and harmony.  Cranes can be deposited and/or collected at an appropriate time in the future, and, all being well, at our festival scheduled to be held on Sunday, October 3, 2021 - where we will have a booth to continue making cranes!
